Terms of Service

Vutomi lets you keep your own medical history safe and accessible. Our services include:

• Adding medication, exam, vaccine, and diagnosis records yourself, by typing them in or attaching a photo
• Doctors proposing records for a patient's approval, which only join the patient's history once the patient accepts
• Exporting your full history as a shareable PDF
• Offline access to your records on your own device
• Premium features via subscription, such as additional photo storage

By using Vutomi, you agree NOT to:

• ✕ Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• ✕ Add records for a patient without that patient's knowledge or consent, if you're using a doctor account
• ✕ Attempt to access another user's account or records without authorization
• ✕ Scrape, copy, or replicate our systems or data
• ✕ Use bots, scripts, or automated methods not authorized by us
• ✕ Upload viruses, malware, or malicious code

Violating these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Your privacy, and the privacy of your health data specifically, matters more here than in an ordinary app. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

By using Vutomi, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described there, including:

• Account information (email, username)
• The health records you add yourself, or that a doctor proposes and you approve
• Payment information, if you subscribe (processed by Stripe or PaySuite, never stored by us)
• Basic technical data needed to keep the app working

We apply data protection principles inspired by internationally recognized standards, even where not formally required by Mozambican law yet. See our Privacy Policy for details.

The Vutomi app itself, including its design, code, and branding, belongs to us. Your health records belong entirely to you.

Specifically, you understand and agree that:

• A record marked 'confirmed by doctor' reflects that a specific doctor account approved that entry. It is not a guarantee of medical accuracy, and doctor accounts on Vutomi are currently self-declared, not verified against professional licensing bodies
• Self-reported records (anything you add yourself) are exactly that: your own account of your health, not a verified medical record
• The Service may be unavailable, contain errors, or lose data due to factors outside our control, and you should not rely on it as your only record of critical medical information

The Service is provided 'as is', without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular medical or clinical purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vutomi will not be liable for:

• Any medical decision made based on information stored in or exported from the app
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind
• Loss of data due to factors outside our reasonable control
• Actions or omissions of third parties, including payment processors and doctors using the platform

Our total liability, in any case, will not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, or the equivalent of 50 USD if you're on the free plan, whichever is greater.

We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Changes take effect once posted.

For material changes, particularly anything affecting your health data or medical disclaimers, we'll notify you clearly inside the app, not just through a quiet update to this page.

We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.

Vutomi is operated by MPINGA TECH & SERVIÇOS, EI (a Mozambican individual-proprietor business), tax ID (NUIT) 124954835, held by Valdo Voliz Mpinga. These Terms are governed by the laws of Mozambique.

Any dispute related to these Terms or the Service falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of the City of Maputo, Mozambique.

Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer protection rights you have under mandatory local law that cannot be waived by agreement.
